OK, I couldn't resist. This is a tongue in cheek look at relationships. What guy hasn't left the seat up? Or tracked dirt on the rug? Or left their shoes somewhere they shouldn't have? I have been house broken, so I don't leave the seat up or leave my shoes lying around, but I have been known to track in dirt. I came up with the guitar part while jamming to a drum track, and it just sort of had a vibe I liked. This song is not a true story! It's just a silly, somewhat funny song. I had to end the CD with something silly and funny after writing "20 Dollars," the most depressing thing I've ever written.
